Arrival
Upon arrival, you’ll register at the village office, marking the start of your adventure.
Waterfall Visit:
The first stop is the breathtaking Materuni Waterfalls, which are about a 40-minute walk from the village. Your guide will provide insights into Chagga culture, village life, and the local fauna and flora. The waterfall cascades over 80 meters, and the pool at its base is ideal for a refreshing swim—so don’t forget your swimwear!
Coffee Experience
The tour continues with a comprehensive coffee experience. You’ll learn about the entire coffee-making process—from cultivation to roasting. You’ll even get hands-on experience grinding the coffee, traditionally accompanied by Chagga songs and dances, adding a fun cultural element to your day.
